Description

A pack of dried sanuki udon noodles. These sanuki udon noodles are thick and firm and can be prepared in just 12 minutes. One of the 3 most famous types of udon in Japan, these sanuki udon noodles are versatile and can be either enjoyed in a hot broth or cooled with a dipping sauce.

Background

Sanuki udon is a traditional style of udon noodle originally from the Sanuki region, now modern day Shikoku. When making this udon the maker has to adhere to several rules including pounding the ingredients by hand and leaving to mature for longer than 2 hours for a firm and delicious noodle.

How To Use

To prepare these udon noodles:
• Add 100g of udon noodles to a pan of approx. 1L of boiling water.
• Begin to re-boil the water and noodles whilst lightly stirring with chopsticks for approximately 12    minutes.
